Are you ready?

There is about 3 months until your graduation day! 3 MONTHS! Can you believe it? These last few months will fly by. Enjoy every moment left! I'm sure most of you have plans or are in the process of making plans for what's next. Some of you might be taking time off from school, few of you might be joining the military, or maybe even jumping straight into college. Whatever your plans are, make the most of it.

I wanted to talk a little about my Free Cap & Gown Mini Portrait Sessions. People ask me why I offer them for free, and here is my reply...I started this for the class of 2020 during the start of the pandemic, as a mom I couldn't imagine what it was like for those seniors and their families. Every normal high school event was canceled, they didn't even know if they were going to be able to hold a graduation ceremony. So I wanted to give something back to them, even if it was only a portrait in their cap and gown. After doing this, I then decided that I wanted to offer these sessions for all the students who where in high school during the pandemic. From those 2020 seniors who lost a large chunk of their senior year, to the freshman who started their first high school year as full remote students(my daughter was one of those freshman). It was a crazy few years, and it still is. I'm hopeful the next school year is a little more normal than this one, only time will tell.

A little more about the Cap & Gown Minis:

  • Where are the sessions? I hold the mini sessions right at Tantasqua. We take some photos in a few spots around the front of the school. Starting from the front of the building ending at the top of the stairs. It takes about 10-15 minutes. So for those who hate portraits, I promise it's not that bad.
  • What is included? You will get an online password protected proof gallery, and you get to select one digital portrait to download with rights to print. Plus options to order more digitals and prints at a discounted rate. You can share some of the portraits online right from your gallery. Parents and siblings can jump in a few pictures and if you book your spot right next to your friend's spot you can also have a few pictures together. In order to get the galleries out right away, your galleries will be unedited. I will edit the portraits after you marked your favorite portraits in your gallery.
  • These free mini portrait sessions are on these select dates only: 6/2, 6/5, 6/6, 6/7, 6/8. Dates may be added before these dates if the cap & gowns come early. Rain dates will be scheduled for the week after graduation.

Below are portraits from the class of 2021. I have only 40 spots open for this. So sign up right away. If you had your senior portrait session with me I will be emailing you the sign up link in the beginning of April, the link will be posted for all at the start of May.
